Sustainability models

Sustainability models must be the model to follow in the future. This also must include five aspects according to The network of sustainability model; these are Diversity, Modularity, Openness, Slack resources and Matching cycles. All this term makes a lot of sense, we also highlight that word resilient is continuously used as an important characteristic. This means the capacity of a company to change together with the environment avoiding going bankrupt.

In the Global Index 100 which compares sustainability between companies. Only one Latin American country appears on the list, which is; Brazil with three companies. This index is presented every year in the world economic forum in Davos, Switzerland. Global Index evaluates different business aspects that show the sustainability of the business. Features like energy, carbon, waste and water productivity among other factors like innovation capacity or relation between CEO and average worker pay or tax pay.

Everybody agrees that sustainable business is necessary for the future. Companies not working under this philosophy will for sure have their days numbered. Therefore it is important for owner companies, managers and stakeholders to be aware of it.
If they want to grow their business will not be enough to do it in the sense to increase in profitability, although in time (long-live). It is well known that everyone wants to have a comfortable life, either way working independently or dependent.

If we look after some sustainable index to compare between countries, we can use the sustainable development goal index (SDG) based on the current 17th goals; and their probable outcome. Based on this classification, Denmark leads the ranking. The first Latin American country on the list is Chile. This can give you a first picture of which country is more prepared or willing to change into a sustainable development as a goal in the future.
